Film and Media
The course will develop the children’s creative skills by teaching them the process of film making. The course is suitable for children from year three onwards.
The children will learn about shots and angles that are used in the film industry. The children will go into groups and create their own production company. They will need to think about a name for their company and who their target audience will be. The children will plan their film by using storyboards and then they will go on to scripting. Once the script is finished, the children will then go ahead with filming. At the end of the course, each child will have a copy of the film on DVD to take home.
* For longer courses, there will be an element of editing.
